“A Digital Gymkana is a cultural, digital and in-person route.” This is how our CEO, Ramón Martín, defines a Digital Tourist Gymkana. Our gymkanas are increasingly present throughout Spain and also in the media. A few weeks ago, the newspaper Tribuna de Andalucía showed interest in our project and interviewed our CEO Ramón Martín to learn all the details about Digital Tourist Gymkana.
Ramón highlighted that a Digital Gymkana combines technology and physical experience, being a cultural, digital and in-person route aimed at promoting tourism in small towns through a fun, free and accessible experience for everyone.
He also spoke about the importance of gamification as a tool to bring history and culture closer to everyone from beautiful and lesser-known towns across Spain, receiving so far very positive feedback from all users who have enjoyed a Digital Gymkana.
And as Ramón says: “The sensations are very positive. Whether we are children or adults, when we play, what we’re learning becomes much more appealing. Therefore, the fact that it’s a game is already attractive, but in addition, the user experience is very positive, because what we do at Digital Tourist Gymkana is remove all barriers to digital access for users, such as avoiding the need to download any mobile application, avoiding payment, avoiding any kind of registration. As soon as the user scans the QR code, the game opens directly and the experience is very positive.”
